How young !?
I respect Paul Prescod a great deal (and not just because he thought I should speak at PyCon) but I am amazed by this post - http://www.prescod.net/python/why.htmlThe 8th paragraph contains
Consider the modern nine-year-old boy trying to configure and extend his Linux system. He would find that many string-processing programs are inexplicably written in C: one of a very few languages that does not even have a first-class string data type!
Do I just not know modern children - but isn't 9 just a mite young? Or am I jusst getting old, pointing out how young the policemen are these days.
